Mini-Update: change of Plans

Does anybody read these by-lines? Is this called a by-line??

Please accept these random Lunella sketches I happened to find from when I was on Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur for 5 seconds.

Hey there, this is gonna be a short newsletter this time. I ended up “injuring” my leg during my trip while walking around Washington D.C. so I’m currently taking it easy, but I also have a deadline coming up so I gotta haul ass real fast. Here’s some bullet points:

• SPX is really cool and I spent waaay too much money! I got a little overwhelmed on the first day becauase there were so many booths and people! I got to do a few panels, my favorite being by the same person who did Draw Stronger. The second day was much better and I even got the courage to talk to a few artists. I’ll show my haul in a following post.

• I spent most of the time in D.C. with a few days in Maryland, and overall it was very chill and fun (until I messed up my knee). I’ve learned that I need to take care of my body better and not just expect to hop up and walk 11,000+ steps a day when usually I’m getting in maybeeee 3,000 a day 😬….

• I’ve decided I’ll be putting selling my Deer Stickers on pause for the time being. I’ve realized that I have other obligations that I really want to get done before this month is over and I need to strategize my promotion better. It’s a bit of a hard pill to swallow (it’s true, I have an ego), but I think it’ll be better in the long run. I’m still learning how to sell merch online and there are other things I would like to make in the future as well. But I’m hoping to have the new comic announced next month!
